Interactive Metronome
- At Ounce of Prevention Reading Center, Interactive Metronome (IM) Neural Timing Therapists work one-on-one with clients. In up to 20 hours, students experience improvements in their neuro-motor timing, concentration, and overall mental focus.
- Rythmicity improves motor planning and sequencing.
- Motor planning and sequencing is a foundation for problem solving behavior such as copying shapes, writing words, language, social behavior, and the 3 R’s.
- IM is an intervention that addresses a variety of challenges including certain learning disorders, language programs, attention problems (including ADHD), behavior problems, and cognitive problems.
